Meet the Maker

Hi – I’m Jess – wife, mother, and grandmother….oh and dog mom can’t forget those rascals. When I’m not working my day job, at a sporting event or spending time with family and friends, you can usually find me in the Candle Shack creating all the smell goods. I started BC Candles as a creative outlet during COVID (because let’s be honestI think COVID shutdowns drove us all a little crazy lol). After much insistence from my family and friends, I took the leap and made it an official business in October 2021. My vision is to create signature creations that are clean for your home and clean for you as consumers! What started out as a hobby in my kitchen has quickly turned into my dream side job. I truly enjoy creating amazing smelling products, setting up a local vendor shows and supporting local organizations through fundraisers. I have had a wonderful support system throughout this exciting journey and cannot wait to see what the future holds :)
